Good hostel choice

I had a private ensuite room with comfortable bed. Hot water dispenser to make your own coffee / tea. Roof area has nice views & lounge. Another lounge on ground floor. Security seemed good. Wifi was dependable. Great location in tourist-friendly part of town.

The noise vibrated a little from the outside nightclub area, into the room. You'll still sleep if you're tired, but its not ideal.

Very Good

Location in Makati was really good. Staff was very helpful. Check-in also very flexible and possible during the night.

Pleasant experience overall, great value for money especially for big group of friends

The space of the room is just right for our group of 6 pax so we felt that the accommodation is a great value for money considering the convenient location and amenities included in the room. Plus, it's difficult to find a better and budget-friendly place around Makati area to fit big groups. Loved that the airconditioning is cold enough for the entire room even with the individual bunk beds. The beddings also came with a duvet and the pillows were soft so night's sleep felt comfy enough. Having a big screen TV with streaming sites in the room is also a plus!

Some of the staff/receptionist weren't wearing masks on even when guests were around. The rooms weren't very clean when we arrived, particularly the flooring and the niche (where the outlets are) on the bed area was a bit too dusty. The beds were comfy overall, but the construction material made small noises when twisting and turning while sleeping. I think the room feature supposedly includes some noise cancelling but in our experience, we can hear sounds from the outside and inside as well but thankfully it was peaceful enough during the night. There are not enough hooks to hang clothes/towels for 6 people. It would be nice to provide more, maybe rods inside the closet would be practical

Comfortable for a short stay

If you are looking for a short stay somewhere central and comfortable Zula is nice, beds were clean with lamp and personal charging and curtains for privacy, the lockers were huge and had charging sockets, the hot shower was good too and had soap, shampoo, and common toilets were kept tidy, they had a small kitchen for use too. You can communicate with staff over Whatsapp

I stayed here a few years back when they were new, the management has changed and the ground floor cafe is still under construction, the hangout area was limited to only the rooftop bar which serves quite expensive meals, the bar staff was incredibly nice though, and the guards.

Wonderful

Super fun hostel, very cool rooftop bar at the top where you can bring in your own things or order there. Great to go out on the weekend although rooms are quiet at night. Comfortable beds and good AC.
